We may not realize that who, or what, we are fighting may be internal, or within us, not external or outside the self. This card can bring about lots of changes and often spiritual ones. With the right perspective on the situation it can and will most likely be amazing. The battle within us can be shortened by giving into these changes and allowing the natural flow of our journey to come forth.

If we keep fighting what feels like only external battles, as most of us still believe, then we will most likely stay trapped or stuck in a place of confusion and frustration.

Conflict avoidance, inner turmoil, exhausting compromises, or finally walking away from a petty argument.

We can't see the Devil's face, because he could be anything, or anyone. We can't see his hostages either, for the same reason. The Devil is the gatekeeper of true spiritual awareness and enlightenment.

We must see ourselves clearly and release our obsessions and addictions before we can proceed toward healing and actualization.

The Devil may appear to point out our own unhealthy behaviors, or the unhealthy behaviors of others. The ill-dignified Devil may suggest that our healing has already begun.

With the Four of Coins it appears we have all that we need. The harvest was solid and abundant. This is due to our shrewd business sense and wise planning. It would benefit us to continue to be practical, patient & disciplined with our resources and spending. All will be well.

We must not be greedy and fall in to the trap and belief that there is not enough to go around. If we find ourselves hoarding our money and resources out of fear, we will only reap in fear and potentially lose what we have worked so hard for.
